The City is Buzzing...Diner en Blanc Grand Rapids is Back Bigger than Ever
Grand Rapids is a city with many things to do and see, and Diner en Blanc Grand Rapids will give guests both. This cultural movement created by parent company Diner en Blanc International, is simply an urban picnic with a sea of friends donned in all white with splashes of gold and silver accessories dining together while fabricating picturesque memories across the world.
With live performances during dinner by Julliard School graduate Richmond Punch and others, to an elevated after-party by the Noire’ Collection and partners to a Boozy Brunch at the AC Hotel to close out 2023. Grand Rapids will be left wanting more. Just know that we were listening to our 2022 guests who completed the surveys. You wanted more and we focused on doing that this year. You wanted more in our city and we were excited to partner with some exclusive brands to bring you the “adult” weekend that you asked for.
As Noire’ partnered with Experience Grand Rapids at the end of last year, it brought us back to the AC Hotel Downtown Grand Rapids for 2023. Coming back to where it all started was a no brainer. They have always been a friend to us, but this year they asked, “What can we do to improve guest experience?” said Guy. Our first thought was a brunch. They were excited to do that and more. “This year you don’t have to search for a place to eat, navigate parking or wait in line,” stated Adams.
It all starts with check-in Friday night and a Boozy Swag bag brought to you by Noire Collection partners to navigate the weekend. “We wanted to find a way that smaller businesses in our city who might not be able to yield a $10k or $20k sponsorship could benefit from a more budget friendly affiliation with our company. AC also said we’ll have a DJ in the lounge welcoming DEBGR guests on Friday night. The kitchen and bar will also be open, so guests can stay and play right here us! It’s going to be a whole vibe.
On Saturday we’ll celebrate and dine together at the secret location with violinist Punch, a cigar lounge by Detroit City Smokes, and a few more added surprises. After dinner the Noire Collection teams up with friends at Tend.Harvest.Cultivate for the official After White Party.
Sunday the weekend concludes with our first annual Boozy Brunch. Guests can simply walk down to the lounge area from their room, give hosts their pre-purchased receipt and enjoy an elevated brunch menu with live music. Included in your meal is our signature drink created by AC’s master mixologist. He will also be serving drinks at their full-service bar for an additional cost.
