Diner en Blanc Grand Rapids Announces 2023 Entertainment
Bonjour Friends!
Welcome to the third edition of Diner en Blanc Grand Rapids. Phases begin opening next week and this year’s world famous pop-up picnic is slated to take the city by storm on September 9th.
The setting is a secret location, 800 dressed in a sea of white, while world famous violinist Richmond Punch serenades guests into the venue. A violin virtuoso, Richmond Punch earned a bachelor’s degree from The Julliard School and a master’s from the prestigious Yale University. He has performed in over 10 countries and can be seen playing in Bishop T.D. Jakes Lifetime movie “Seven Deadly Sins: Lust” starring Keri Hilson, LeToya Luckett, Tank, and Tobias Truvillion. He has been an opening act for Idina Menzel and other note-worthies such as Viola Davis, Danny Glover, Steven Forbes, and Charles Barkley. Lauded for performing at the 2020 funeral of African-American Atlanta resident Rayshard Brooks, fatally shot by an Atlanta police officer, he’s no stranger to performing in front of a live audience. “ We’re just excited to be added to his 2023 tour. He definitely will bring fire to this year’s event,” said co-host Tarona Guy.
“New menu, new wines and a weekend to remember is what we’re looking to bring our guests,” agreed co-hosts Jamecia Adams and Kristian Grant. “This night promises to give you an unforgettable experience in the city of Grand Rapids.” While Diner en Blanc International is headquartered in Montreal, Canada, every event is hosted by local organizers who love the original Parisian concept while adding their own local flavour. Your Grand Rapids hosts are Adams, Grant and Guy of Noire’ Collection, a group of professionals experienced in creating social experiences.
